3 Creative (and Simple!) DIY Christmas Card Displays

The holiday season is my absolute favorite time of year. To me, it’s about more than presents. It’s about presence—the presence of the spirit of love and joy in the air and the presence of family and friends, both near and far.

My favorite way to feel close to others during this time is by sending and receiving Christmas cards. In the past, I never knew how to display my cards—but this year, I decided to get creative and DIY three holiday card displays using Royal Building Products Trimboard. They’re easy and fun. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Lay the trim flat on the ground
Step 2: Attach the wreath hanger to the top of the trim and add the wreath to the hanger
Step 3: Place a long strip of scotch tape onto one end of the Christmas lights and wind them around the trim. Be sure to leave a bit at the end to plug into an outlet.
Step 4: Stick the cards underneath the strand of lights.
Step 5: Put the decorated trim display into position in your home (make sure you place it near an outlet so you can turn the lights on).
