Looking Ahead to an Inspirational 2019
Welcome to 2019! Thank you for tuning in to all things exterior design and outdoor inspiration. Many of you participated in our year end survey, so thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We take them to heart and want to give you the best ideas, trends and tips in the world of exterior design.

Exterior Projects
Most of you are planning new landscaping projects and adding seasonal decorations in 2019. You’re also planning some larger home projects over the next five years, as many of you are choosing to stay in your home longer and invest in renovations. This year, we are excited to share landscaping inspirations and creative seasonal decoration ideas, as well as tips for how to maintain your home’s exterior, so that it will retain its beauty for years to come.
More DIY!
We have heard you loud and clear and we love DIY, too! A majority of you want to see more DIYs from us in 2019 and we have some great ones in the works. Look for a DIY entryway bench project this February!
2019 Trends
Outdoor living continues to be a hot trend in 2019 and is one of the most requested renovations by homeowners. Whether you want to create a lavish outdoor living space, add an extra kitchen, incorporate spa elements or transform a shed into something uniquely yours, these are the trends we will continue to highlight at LiveAbode.
As we look to the year ahead, we are also planning more gardening inspiration and outdoor entertaining articles, and of course design trend stories around our favorite topic – color! Royal has just launched its new 2019 Color Trend of the Year, Slatescape and we cannot wait to show you our favorite applications for this new color trend.
